“The Marie Curies of the Mediterranean”

The program will include insights into the Marie Skłodowska-Curie funding program of the European Union, lightning talks by successful fellows, a panel discussion on the topic “Empowering Women in Science”, and the official opening of the exhibition.

“The Marie Curies of the Mediterranean” is an international exhibition that celebrates the lives and achievements of 29 female scientists and researchers from the Mediterranean region who have received the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships from the European Union and/or contribute to it through their work. It was designed by the Marie Curie Alumni Association and El Caleidoscopio, partners of the MEDNIGHT consortium, and brought to Vienna by the Austrian Archaeological Institute (ÖAI) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
